Where were you born and/raised? Starkville, Mississippi, raised mostly in Decatur, GA
What was your first job? My first job was at Papa John's .
You have two weeks off and a plane ticket to go anywhere. Where would you go? If I had two weeks off and a ticket anywhere, I'd take a cruise leaving from Miami and going to several different islands.
What would you like your fellow COTS partners to know about you? I have several different interests such as sports, cooking, tv, books, music, etc. Very well-rounded person.
What made you decide to be a physician/nurse/EMT/emergency manager (whatever your chosen career path)? When I went to college, I had no idea what I wanted to study until someone introduced me to the Emergency Management Program. I've always been someone who's enjoyed being a servant and helping people. Learning more about the program and the history of Emergency Management, it lined up perfectly with who I am.
What hobbies do you participate in your free time? Sports, spending time with family/travel, golf most recently.
What’s the best career advice you ever received? The best advice I've ever received is to never stop being willing to learn.
What is your favorite thing to do in the Winter season? Favorite thing to do in the winter is to stay inside and watch my comfort movies/shows (harry potter)
What’s something about your background that people wouldn’t guess? People are normally shocked to hear about all the places I've lived in such a short time. (Georgia, California, Japan, Virginia, and Ohio). All since 2020
What was the first concert you attended? Very first concert I went to was an Usher concert with my wife in 2024.
